Twisted Metal Black

Twisted Metal: Black is a vehicular combat game developed by Incognito Entertainment and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, released exclusively for the PlayStation 2 in 2001. As the fifth main installment in the Twisted Metal series, it marked a dramatic tonal shift from the earlier entries — presenting a much darker, grittier, and more psychological experience, both in gameplay and narrative.

Built from the ground up for the PS2, Twisted Metal: Black reinvigorated the franchise with faster gameplay, detailed environments, twisted backstories, and a haunting, oppressive atmosphere that pushed the boundaries of what car combat games could be.
