Tekken 5

Tekken 5 is a 3D fighting game developed and published by Namco for the PlayStation 2 in 2005.

As the fifth main entry in the Tekken series, it marks a return to the series’ faster, more fluid combat system, removing many of the movement limitations from Tekken 4.

The game features a large roster of 32 characters, including new fighters like Asuka Kazama, Raven, Feng Wei, and the powerful boss Jinpachi Mishima.

Tekken 5 introduces several new gameplay elements, such as the Crush System, enhanced wall combos, and for the first time in the series, character customization, allowing players to buy costumes and accessories using fight money.

The game also includes a unique side mode called Devil Within, a single-player adventure starring Jin Kazama

Visually stunning for its time and packed with content (including arcade versions of Tekken 1–3), Tekken 5 was both a critical and commercial success.

It is widely praised for revitalizing the franchise after the mixed reception of Tekken 4, and is still regarded as one of the best entries in the series.
