Silent Hill: Origins (also known as Silent Hill Zero in Japan) is a prequel to the original Silent Hill game. Set several years before the events of the first installment, it explores the origins of the town’s supernatural horror and the birth of its most iconic character, Alessa Gillespie. The game brings back classic survival horror mechanics such as exploration, limited resources, puzzle-solving, and psychological terror, while introducing new features unique to this entry.
