In this game you play as a transfer student who arrives at Gekkoukan High School in the city of Iwatodai. Shortly after arriving, you become aware of a hidden hour between one day and the next, called the Dark Hour — a secret time when most people are unconscious, and strange creatures called Shadows roam freely.

During this time, the protagonist discovers the ability to summon entities known as Personas, manifestations of inner will, used to battle these Shadows. He joins a group of students known as SEES (Specialized Extracurricular Execution Squad), who investigate the Dark Hour and climb a mysterious tower called Tartarus that appears during it.

As the story unfolds, SEES uncovers a deeper mystery involving death, the supernatural, and the fate of the world. The protagonist must confront not only physical battles but also existential themes like:

• The meaning of life
• The inevitability of death

The narrative is deeply emotional and philosophical, with memorable characters and powerful twists.
