Introduction

Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja 4 is a 2.5D-style fighting and action-adventure game developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Bandai Namco.

It was released exclusively for the PlayStation 2 in 2007 (Japan) and 2009 (North America), making it the first game in the Ultimate Ninja series to feature characters and storylines from Naruto Shippuden, the sequel to the original Naruto series.

Story Overview

The game’s main story mode, called Master Mode, follows the events shortly after Naruto returns to the Hidden Leaf Village following two years of training with Jiraiya. It is set during the early arcs of the Naruto Shippuden anime.

You play as Naruto Uzumaki, who returns older, stronger, and more determined. After reuniting with friends like Sakura, Kakashi, and others, Naruto joins his new team on a mission to find Gaara, the Kazekage, who has been kidnapped by the dangerous criminal group known as Akatsuki.
