Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is a stealth-action game set during the height of the Cold War in the 1960s. As a prequel to the earlier Metal Gear Solid games, it tells the origin story of Big Boss — known here as Naked Snake — and his transformation from a loyal operative to a legendary soldier.
