Dynasty Warriors 5: Xtreme Legends is an expansion disc to Dynasty Warriors 5, designed to enhance and extend the base game with new gameplay modes, characters, weapons, and challenges. Unlike a standalone sequel, it builds upon the core experience by adding extra content without changing the fundamental mechanics.

While the disc can be played on its own, the full range of features (like Musou Modes for new characters and enhanced weapons) is unlocked only by using the “Disc Fusion” or “Import” feature with the original Dynasty Warriors 5 game.
