Introduction

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 is a 3D arena-based fighting game that immerses players in the action-packed world of Dragon Ball, including Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball GT, and even select Dragon Ball movies.

It’s the second entry in the Budokai Tenkaichi series and massively expands upon its predecessor in every way — featuring a huge roster, cinematic story mode, and fast, explosive battles that mirror the anime’s high-energy combat.

Story Overview

The main single-player campaign, called Dragon Adventure, lets players relive the entire Dragon Ball Z storyline from the Saiyan Saga to the Majin Buu Saga, plus content from Dragon Ball GT and multiple DBZ movies, including: broly, cooler, bojack, janemba, garlic Jr., tapion.

Each saga features fully narrated cutscenes, character-specific dialogue, and semi-open-world exploration where you fly over the Earth, Namek, and other maps to trigger story events, fights, and training missions.

The story mode is not just about fighting — it also includes item collecting, fusion events, side battles, and what-if scenarios that explore alternate versions of DBZ history.
