In this game you play as Haseo, a player character in “The World R:2,” who joins the game searching for a mysterious player known only as Tri-Edge. Haseo’s journey begins with a tragedy—his close friend Shino is attacked by Tri-Edge and falls into a coma in the real world. This incident triggers Haseo’s transformation from a naive newbie to a hardened and ruthless player known as the “Terror of Death.”

As the story unfolds, Haseo discovers that “The World” is more than just a game. Strange occurrences and data anomalies suggest a deeper mystery connecting the virtual world with the real one. Players are pulled into a complex tale involving AIDA (Artificially Intelligent Data Anomalies), rogue AI programs, and the enigmatic Epitaph Users, of which Haseo is one.
