The game is set in a dark, gothic medieval world following the defeat of Count Dracula by Trevor Belmont. Despite Dracula’s death, his curse continues to spread throughout Europe, causing suffering, chaos, and disease. You play as Hector, a former Devil Forgemaster who once served Dracula but abandoned him before his defeat.

Hector seeks revenge against Isaac, another Forgemaster still loyal to Dracula, who tricked Hector into allowing Dracula’s defeat and later murdered Hector’s beloved, Rosaly. Driven by vengeance and burdened by guilt, Hector journeys through the cursed lands to confront Isaac, uncovering deeper truths about Dracula’s lingering influence and the evil that still haunts the land.
